This is the website for Mark Roberts musical exploits. Thanks for visiting and
please feel free to contact me.
I play traditional music on the flute, tin whistle, 5-string banjo and bouzouki
and have had a long and varied career in music. I’ve toured and recorded with
the seminal band Touchstone, played the banjo with the Red Clay Ramblers on
Broadway in the show Fool Moon, my flute and pennywhistle can be heard in the
Jon Salyes film The Secret of Roan Innish, and I’ve brought my whistle on tour
with Don Henley.
I’ve performed on and produced many recordings, most recently The Gloup, a flute
CD with guitarist Dan Compton.
News!
Dan Compton and I have recorded a new CD The High Caul Cap. Ordering info available soon!
My Partner Andrea Cooper and I both play flute and 5-string banjo and love the
chance to perform together.
We live with our fetching son Fenton in Massachusetts.
